lyrics

I'd like to declare my major, I'm majoring in being broke.
These lyrics are dope, but I'm tested with individuals,
With Pre-Med dreams from cities with mad residuals.
Praying on my scholarship like, "God I need a miracle!"
And why'd we set it up where the more we have the more we go?
If daddy isn't flossing, I might end up on that Maury show.
And that's if he's present. Lash out on my brethren, carrying these resentments.
Plus they ask for I.D. every time I leave to exit. So purchase this.
Y'all think we're kids with dreams of CEO of Murda Biz.
"I seen his hair, he's probably robbing shops and hitting spliffs.
Or kicking it with kids who kick the can because of color differences.
Don't leave your kids with him!"
I'll let you overlook my actions. My gosh, society on some bull: John Paxon,
Truth be told, everybody has a passion.
But I'm told to pass 'cause ain't no grown men rapping so I'm like.

They don't understand me.
I'm just out here trying to be everything I can be.
But everybody's in my face acting all fancy.
So when you wonder why you ain't up on my level don't ask me!

Y'all don't really get me. At the same time I'm breathing, I feel like I'm 6ft. deep.
I'm not trying to be in offices at 50.
Talking 'bout "I hate my life", and drowning out my kidneys.
I guess I just don't know what I want. I don't know what I want.
All I know is 'stunt', 'Get Money', and 'roll blunts'.
All I know is 'don't raise babies' and 'hold ups'.
All I know is I don't really think the future's fun.
They tell me pick my future now, but be in bed by 1.
They tell me up my body count, but never fall in love.
They tell me 'son these rappers', but rappers don't father sons.
All I know is I don't think these numbers measure up.
And it's sick, 'cause I think I'm legit.
And I ain't no magician, but I know I run this trick.
And I don't go to school 'cause they treat me like a fool.
And they never understand that this music is my tool.

They don't understand me.
I'm just out here trying to be everything I can be.
But everybody's in my face acting all fancy.
So when you wonder why you ain't up on my level don't ask me!
